I think u take pleasure in believing in alternate theory... whether or not it makes sense. It makes u feel like a forward thinker.

Yes, I do take pleasure in looking into alternate theories, no offense taken.

IMO, it keeps things interesting. I mean how interesting is the plate tectonic theory...not very; but knowing there are alternatives, makes the topic a little more controversial, thus interesting. Right?

I mean, come on, the Earth grows like a seed...thats pretty cool.

Watched a few a long ass time ago. Interesting, I'm just not sure if I really care one way or the other. As long as food gets in my stomache and gas gets in my car, and I have a roof over my head I'm happy.

I should probably tell u that I am currently undertaking a Physics and a Mechanical Engineering Degree; thus my interest in this topic. I though I could find some more ppl that enjoy this.

The flat earth society is cool ...if anything for their ability to I pursue what is seen as an outlandish cause.

Just because something sounds ridiculous, we can't just throw it out. We have to look into it. What is it in their scientific proofs that cause them to infer that the earth is flat. That information may be very important in other applications.

Unfortunately, in this process, we might have to confess our uncertainties in the way this world works. That is a bitter pill to swallow, especially for those who have stakes on the solidity of their own theories.
