everytime i order new parts for my car something goes wrong .... I finally ordered a new rear motor mount and some NGK wires and my motor goes kaboom ... Well i dont know exactly what has happened but it felt and sounded like detonation and then a clink then it died ... tn_Accords pulled me home where we learned something is in one of the cylinders cause it wont turn over unless you turn it backwards some by hand then it turns over but you could here something hitting .... I think it dropped a valve into the #3 cylinder. Well I guess its time to pull and rebuild ... get it sleeved, order new internals and get ready for boost.

Lol! dayum bro sorry to hear about that well its an old motor what can you do but just replace it. Good luck on the boost thing, well atleast it gives you time to sit back and let yourself collect your thoughts on what you really wanna do with the car.

well i was thinking it over all night at work and i have decided its time for a new car ... something newer and maybe quicker out of the box ... i would grab up a new accord if i could afford one but since i cant i came up with a few ideas on cars
1. 2001 honda prelude
2. acura RSX type S
3. Acura TL
4. 2003 civic SI (not really fast but i love the looks of them)
5. Scion Tc (they have potential)
6. chevy cobalt SS (they have potential)
7. chevy astro van (i miss my pimpin van)
8. honda oddessy (they are nice vans)
depending on what i get i may give the CB7 to Tn_Accords or i may keep it for a project if i go with a mini van

tc (Total Crap)
astro (seriously....)
id consider the acura tl on your list or the honda odyssey. the new ones are pimp, the older ones you can do a motor swap.

the astros can be pimp ... I had an 89 that was silver with red ghost flames, 18s, dropped, crushed velvet interior, 8 audiobauhn 12s, on 8000 watts of audiobauhn amps (4 amps), 2 caps, and i loved it ... but i would really like a type S RSX or the 03 civic Si ... I will be looking in the 15K price range financed ...

sorry if i GAVE it to anyone it would be Tn_Accords since he has been my right hand man since i got up here ... I have been thinking about giving him the H22 and getting him to slap one of the single cam motors he has laying around in it so that it will run and i can sale it to come up with a good down payment on my next ride ... Im leaning towards the 03 civic Si or the RSX type S

yeah plus those new cars would cost $$$ to insure every month. you gotta think about ALL the variables involved. good choice on the engine swap. As long as your body is in good shape, why not right?
