Alright, just my opinion. I've looked through this post and... Well 30 g's is a lot for a Civic. I mean Honda makes good cars, but look, you can do a lot with 30 g's. I could understand 15-16K for a Civic but not 30. I am not biased or anything, that's just a chuck change. I mean shit, that a 3 series coupe. You must really be a true Honda fan to purchase one, period. I don't think many ricers would buy them. Maybe a young Jap might ( no offense to my asian friends) the same way I would buy my '96 Impala SS. So, it's a hot car but only for a selected few.

Also, youd get more for you money to buy a regular SI and use the 8 or 9k you saved and invest it in the motor and suspension yourself, since the mugen civic has the same motor as the regular SI.

Bottom line is: IT'S A NEON. In fifteen years nearly 80% of SRT-4's will be in the junkyards. While they may be complete crap, you can't really hate on the speed. They're a lot of bang for the buck. Are they juvenile? Yes. Good looking? Questionable. It all comes down to taste.

And sparkle, I'm betting everyone here knows how much faster your car is. We're driving family sedans old enough to vote. You're driving a tuned out econo sedan meant to blow the doors off sports cars. Guess what? No one cares what you drive. If we wanted the all-powerful SRT-4 DODGE NEON we'd get one. But we don't. We like our cars because they're good looking, quick (enough) and RELIABLE. Now, that last part may come as a bit of a shock, but most people don't like having to rebuild/repair/replace something every two weeks. (not trying to be a dick/"hater," but it sure seems that way)

The civic will most likely hold it's value. Although there are a bunch of more powerful options, it will find its place as a collectible/oddity/purist's car.
