I used to like guns. I bought several air rifles and a Beretta replica which is my favorite sidearm. I love what the Beretta 92 FS a.k.a M9 but the U.S military. It just love its design and how you almost see the whole barrel. I would love to own one just for the fun of it but wouldn't ever use it really unless I go to a fire range. You can't carry guns around here. You need a license to own them and even one for transporting them. You're also just allowed to own hunting rifles. gun stores don't sell any automatic rifles or sidearms. That's why the crime rate is much lower here in Canada than in the states.

if you plan on getting a firearm..

get a Ruger....Springfield XD..or a Glock.

whatever you do...stay away from HI-POINTS :

bought one for the fuck of it ( 9mm / $139 )....went to the firing range....and within the first 20 rounds...it jammed ( stove piped "shell stuck in between slide and barrell" ) 8 times. ( due to the spring being too stiff )

YES...I know how to shoot...YES..I know the proper procedure in which to hold a handgun. ( been shooting for years )

its just...HI-POINTS IMO are JUNK.

so I ended up selling it back to Vances for $120..even thought I bought it for $140.

so I only lost $20 NO BIGGIE.

NOTE: they're BULKY ...UGLY..and NOT RELIABLE ( IMO )

and whats so fucked up too.... they're made here in Ohio

I wonder why they came up with their LIFETIME WARRANTY?

Rented one at the range prior to purchasing, and fell in love.

Sights are extremely easy to read, and catch your eye in bright white.
Rapid shooting is not a problem, but then again I'm used to a .45.
Barely felt like I was shooting the thing.

Shot 20 rounds out of the rental and hit target every time.

Still got my Ruger.... can't decide whether or not I want to keep it now though.
