Look at those prices...and yet...what's more popular? front clips and engine buys...guess that's why...all that red tape.

It's just easier to get and engine/front clip and swap that...and make that pass emissions than it is to get the whole car.

imagine how much easier it would be to buy an acura...and then just by the parts needed to right hand drive it...

course you don't turn as many heads when you're driving a 240sx with an rb engine...as you do when you drive the r32 (or 33, 34...etc)

sucks...damn bastards...I'M CONTACTING MY STATE REP. RIGHT NOW

    not really

There's a post I made about importing a CB7 back in 2004... at the time, that site had something about a container being $1000. Customs fees and stuff would be a pain, and I never did get a definitive answer on how much they'd actually be. DOT and EPA stuff will probably be a concern as well.

As Danny said, having an EXACT US counterpart is the best bet... and RHD changes that. If you get something exactly like a US car, what's the point?

If you want to import, look into OLD cars. 20-25 years old are supposedly MUCH easier to get in. Talk to a Registered Importer, and maybe even make some military friends

I also have a thread with LOTS of details about becoming a registered importer... you might want to search for that and read up!

And yeah, that site kicks ass. I used to go on there for hours drooling over the cheap GTS-T Skylines they have!

None of those are exactly like US models... Which is why we'd want them!
