1.)didnt sound like they mis-shifted to me. just sounded like they hit the revv limiter

It is a Gallardo. The mirror is a dead giveaway. Give me any big turbo import and you can smoke the gallardo. Its not hard. Everyone might think its amazing but run that thing from a dig. Pretty sure the del sol wont hook. Either way Gallardos arent that great of a car. Never been a fan of them. The Murcielago on the other hand that was a nice car.
