Tell me you're really big into photography. Please tell me that. Because if you aren't you just wasted about $200. That's a DAMN nice camera, and I hope you have lots of fun with it, but if you're not an avid photographer it's overkill.

Yeah, that's the only kind of zoom that's worth a shit.
Last christmas I bought myself a Cannon ELF. something around 2.1 megapixels, which is perfect for me since I mostly use it underwater when I go SCUBA diving.

Yeah, that's solid. I got a Sony CD Mavica, it was like $1400. Wasn't worth it at all. I might eBay this one and buy a better cam. You suggest this one?

I can only assume you used a very simple/lousy image program to resize that image because a camera of that caliber should never produce such blocky images. Resize your images w/ photoshop or other image programs (like paintshop pro, acdsee, etc...)

That's exactly what I was thinking. The photo looks like shite...but it's probably just the program you used to resize.
