You're right about "Why sit today and worry about what tomorrow brings, when you could be enjoying yourself?"

Most people get so caught up in "life" they forget about the "little things" that bring "the big things" into focus.

Glad to see your still with us.

I read the whole thing, and props on still being alive But seriously, some people let things get them down that aren't that big of deals. Not to say that you shouldn't worry about anything, just don't let stuff make you mad or ruin a perfectly fine day or week otherwise. Great advice and good luck.

Glad that you're still with us today!

I nearly died in a bad accident last year (december 9 - almost a year) and everyone that saw the truck that I was in, were suprised that my buddy and myself were alive (totaled an 06 z71 - smashed in bed, cab smashed in to the height of the head rest, rear tire ripped off, rolled a few times and then skidded about 400 feet). I woke up in one hospital and he woke up in another. I know what you mean by "I walk a little different, see things different, becuase all of it was almost taken from me".

Never take everything for granted. I just live life to the fullest and enjoy my family and friends. And now that I think of it, it was by accident that I met some of my best friends. Weird isn't it?

No nobody knows an exact reason or anything, but what I've come up with is this.

The Staph has been going around Savannah lately, in the schools, and it just so happened to be going through my school. I'm assuming I got the Staph from there.

The mono I'm assuming I got it while playing dodge ball over at AASU with about 50 other kids. I never share drinks or food with anybody, and the only girl I've been kissin on has been only kissin on me since before summer started.

The only fact part that I know is the combination of the two is what made my spline eat all the platelets.

It turns out if I had even waited 6 hours, like if I went to school that day insted of the hospital, I would of died in the middle of a class. That's no joke, and that's some scary shit.

I always liked the "no sense worrying about something you can't change and no sense changing something not worth worrying about" I know it's not the same thing but it's now my moto.

Glad to see you're still with us. I kinda know how you feel, never been that close but after flipping a truck and putting my driver's door into a phone pole at 40ish miles an hour, I have an idea. But yeah, I am really glad to see that you are still with us. Read the entire thing and the most inspiring part of that for me was "Enjoy today, because there's no way to avoid tomorrow. Why sit today and worry about what tomorrow brings, when you could be enjoying yourself?"

Yeah, while enjoying dinner with some friends earlier tonight I was having an in depth talk with a real good buddy of mine, and he said something that really stuck to me. I told him about not worrying about tomorrow, and enjoying today, and he agreed and added this about life in general.

I read your post and didnt know what the problem was at first, so then I searched through your threads and found out. Damn, Im really happy to hear you are doing better, and for a youngin your post is inspirational...anybody born after me I consider young..lol. There are certain times in your life when your whole perspective changes, a life changing experience, sometimes its good and sometimes not, it seems like for you it has been a positive change and you seem to have a really positive outlook which can bring along other positive feelings around you with your friends, family and complete strangers.
