    Options from Total Loss

Opinions needed. What would you do?

1992 Honda Accord EX Coupe. Has an auto H22A, koni yellows with eibach springs, on 17s. Also has misc JDM parts and a rare USDM part not installed. Brand new CF hood and brand new 18s (not installed).

Take the $3000 and run, take $2600 and keep car (fix), or take $2600 and part car?

    Thanks!

sounds like the car was crashed and insurance is offering 3000, with a 400 buyback option????
if thats the case i would buy it back and if sell the parts since theres obviously more than 400 in parts there.

Broken driver side headlight, dented hood, dented driver side fender and dented driver side door. Also the metal piece that goes right on top the back of the headlight is bent a little (top of driver side bulkhead).

I can fix all this sheit myself, but since I live in GA...it has to be done by a state certified rebuilder shop. After that, get it inspected to be roadworthy. Then apply for new rebuilt tag.

I'm thinking about getting my hands on another CB7 and start from scratch so I'm leaning towards buying her back and parting. Fawked up sheit is that I just received my rotors and pads for the ROH project.

i say keep the car pick up a new CB and just swap everything onto it since that seems easier to do

That seems like the plan. Thanks for everyone's input. More inputs are welcomed.

                that's what i'd do.

there are plenty of cb's in GA that are in good condition. got any pics of the damage? later.

                  Take the $2600.

Grab the other cb, yank off what you want from yours and part the rest out?
                  3 CB's gone....

Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

Whatever you do getting rid of the car isn't worth $400. You could part it out and come out ahead, depending on damage.

Damn!!! I love my ride too much. Going to be fixed. Anyone with a hookup in GA. Stupid GA law. Should've never put in an insurance claim for it. I could've fixed it myself, but my dumbass thought it better to report it. I didn't even find the dead deer so I can turn it into dog food for my APBT.

Time to find a licensed rebuilder.
