1.when everything is rattling, squeaking and knocking.

to fix something you must fix something else first

EXTERIOR:
-paint is faded
-your antenna doesnt work anymore
-the pin striping is horrid, you try to take it off and it leaves a tan line
-black trim is fading
-bug splatters all over the front bumper

INTERIOR:
-your black center piece counsel is cracked.
-your door handles are cracked
-the chrome trim on your ebrake starts peeling
-you pull out your rear seat and you have a history of old school candy and pennies that embeded itself onto the metal.
-your windows dont glide in place (so you have to glide it with your hand while rolling it up) *sedans*
-windows rattle because the clips became loose *coupes*
-turn signal, headlight print on the knobs are worn off.
-your a/c smells like junk
-you dont wear the lap belt on your automatic seat belt

REPAIRS:
-oil in your spark plugs
-the older your automatic tranny is the more louder it sounds like a super charger
-your constantly repairing the car
-motor mounts go bad
-joints and bushings go bad
-when you work on your car it looks like you played in tar/mud.
-suspension seems to never be fixed (no matter how much you did to it)

BRAKES:
-drum brakes dont slow down the car as much anymore
-your ebrake goes all the way up.
-brakes are mushy or soft
