We could get serious about punishing people instead of condoning their bad behavior by making lame ass excuses for them.
Of course that would be too easy, AND too effective. Wouldn't want that, it might hurt someone's feelings.

For real. If parents would raise their children properly this shit wouldn't happen as much. "Time Out" my ass, bust that kids ass and they will learn.

They will carry replacement parts for that car. our local dealer already has a SMALL stock of little things like shocks (is all I got to see). They were locked behind a chain-link cage in the parts dept.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honda is required by law to stock parts for every production model for 30 years (might be 20, but I am pretty sure it is 30) from the date of manufacture.
So if there is a run on Mugen accessories for the USDM Si, they can either not sell them over the parts counter or make more, but they have to have stock.

hmmm... 20 sounds more like it. because ive seen Honda start phasing out parts for certain production models after 10-15 years.
i doubt that we will be able order accessory MUGEN Si parts to sell over the counter, or to even have in stock. usually if they do plan on it...it hits our catalogs before the vehicle gets to the dealers and we get a bunch of promotional orders for it.
if they do release parts..i believe its gonna be special ordered parts only and in limited production... its all kinda sketchy right now as it is.
kinda reminds me of when the S2K came out and it was supposed to be a limited run...but it did well. not too many bites on a 35k+ civic. LOLF22a1-->F22A-->H22A-->auto-2-5spd-->K20 6spd-->F22C 6spd RWD-->4G63 6spd AWD-->K24 6spd????

so what all did they take? from the picture it seems like the seats, shift knob, wheels and emblems.
limited to 1000 units with some unique parts... this isn't very surprising. with that said, I'm not sure why any sane person would buy a car like this as it seems like people would be constantly scheming to rip it off for parts.
imagine if this car came with a higher output version of the k20 and some mugen engine parts. yeah.. you get the idea.1991 JDM Galant VR-4

I don't mean stocking them for the sake of accessorizing them as much as repairing them. For instance, if I go and order a new dizzy cap and rotor for maintenance. I doubt they are going to want to keep tons of Mugen stuff in stock for accessorization, especially with as much as people bitch about the price. But they have to have replacement parts available for those that fail or need replaced.
Also, I think it is 30. Many parts for 1976 Civics are still pretty readily available. It might because Honda made more than they needed, but my memory really wants to go with 30.
