25 over in tx you get to go to jail. If your lucky you get a hefty fine and soem other stuff.

Everyone knows this already but.....50km over in ON you loose your car the minute your pulled over....A tow truck comes to whereever you are and they hold your car for 7 days...and your license also gone for 7 days.....You also have to pay all the impound/towing fees....and you get fined huge....its awesome.

Then when thats all done with you get raped by insurance.

I dont think we get sent to jail though lol

I wished the speed limit would go back to 70-75 or so where it used to be. Guess too many accidents so they brang it back down to 65. I have been nicked for 20/22 over. Little did I know inside the town speed limit was 65 not 70 coming in from the main interstate.

70 in a 40 is illegal in all the states that I can think of, in some states 20 or more over the posted speed limit is considered and prosectued as reckless driving and in a few states any form of reckless driving is a felony.. Belive it or not Police cars do NOT have to be stopped or even moving in the same direction as you to clock your speed..

YUP!!...they can still clock you...even though they are going in a different direction!

I was trying to get back to the base....because we had radios in the vans...and my boss kept telling me to get to the base...ASAP...so I was trying to get back....so I could unload my van...and thats how I got stopped....and he was going in the other direction!

so yeah...MADSPLEEN...you're correct...they can clock you when on the other side of the street!
