I finally got some 14 hubcaps for my beater's winter tires that meet my strict criteria. I wanted 4 matching hubcaps, that covered most of the wheel, had 4 lug holes/caps, we NOT chrome, and that looked good/stockish but that didnt cost a fortune. I scored this set from my local junkyard for $20.
Looking around for a while, i didnt see anything in the honda section. At the last moment, i said lets look at this 5th gen (I was with my dad). The car was tinted, all the locks were removed, the trunk was locked shut, and the trunk release was gone. The wheels were gone from the car, and whatnot... My dad happened to look through the rear window and down through where the speaker used to be, and said that he thinks he sees a hubcap. I checked it out and told him he was right. After a few minutes of trying to pry the trunk open, and then trying to pry the back seat open, i remembered that I could use the latch from the inside of the trunk. I reached in, and barely had enough of a grip on the plastic hande. I popped open the trunk, and VOILA!!! I had 4 nicer hubcaps...
Check them out.. They arent perfect, but they are not damaged/cracked. Just alittle dirty, and the paint is worn, but thats fine with me (for now)
