Well, I was working in a warehouse in cali. A good job but I didn't want to spend the rest of my life there. I figured I still had a chance to go back to school and better myself so more doors will open for me. My dad retired from the military so he gets this benefit of his children going to college for free. BUT, because my dad resides in alabama, the benefit only works in that state. If that wasn't the case, I would never leave cali. I pretty much made the decision to leave just to get my degree so I can go back to cali with alittle more edge than what I had without one. We both agreed seeing it would make my life easier, but possibly hers if we ever gotten that far. She went to college for a while while working but things got complicated and she had to give up school. I think having this chance of free college is something you just can't pass up, knowing it can only help you in the long run. I'm somewhat doing this for her as well as myself. I'm only staying for two years with making trips every now and then back to cali to see her. Already made plans to go back during x-mas/new years break.


Anyway, update....

She called me back last night after I left a message. She called me after she got home after clearing her head. She basically said the reason she said she couldn't trust me was because she doesn't know what's going on. She said she always had doubts but she holds it all in so when she couldn't hold it any more, that's when she had her outburst. We had a long talk about it all and basically told her, if she wants to go, it's up to her. It sucked saying it but I knew that was the choice she had to make. She kept saying "I don't know." and "I don't want to be heartbroken and I have this feeling I am cause I love you." I just kept thinking to myself, "This is going to suck."

After about 5 minutes of her thinking, she decides to stay and to make things work. I am relieved but at the same time, I'm wondering what will happen in the future. We stayed on the phone until 2:30 central time, just talking about what's really going on with our lives and such. I had to wake up in 3 hours so we hung up. After that, I called her to wake her up for work since I had to get up for school. We talked for a while, just laying down and not getting ready for what we had to do. We hung up and I was an hour late for my first class. She's still at work but i'm going to call her on her lunchbreak to talk to her alittle more. Things seem alright for now. And she's calling me right now.... Yeah, she burnt her mircowaved popcorn for lunch. It feels good knowing she's alittle bit more comfortable now.
