The cb7 is in high demand

I went to school today and this guy in my class who drives a RSX comes to me sayinjg his friend really likes my car. I'm like "okay. thanks." seeing how it's completely stock and paints peeling off the top and trunk area. So he starts telling me his friend wants to buy my car for 4K. The first thing that came to mind at the time was "is your friend on crack?". I paid $2,200 for it not even 3 months ago which I worked my ass off all summer at a local car wash to get it. Anyway, I told him that I wasn't going to sell it and that his friend should do what I did and just look around for one or in a newspaper since most cb's here are being sold for under 3K.

After our breakfast break, he comes back and insists that his friend really wants to buy my car. Now I'm to the point where I'm cautious about the whole thing. I basically tell him he can get a 5 speed coupe cb for under 4K and still have money left over for a drop and tint. So he tells me that I should go ahead and buy another car with the 4K. I love my cb7. It's the first thing in my life I actually set my eyes on and worked hard to get it. I keep thinking that because I won't sell it, something might happen to it. It's an uneasy feeling.

Should I go and buy an alarm system for it? Or a club for the streering wheel?

I also noticed that since I bought my cb7, there's tons of them driving around now. Are cb7 in high demand now?

I'd be safer than sorry and get an alarm installed cuz who knows maybe it's his old car and there's like $100k stuffed in the dash or something. I'd honestly check all over my car for anything peculiar .

Dude, you just got it and it is stock. Sell it. Get another one and use the extra cash.

That has passed my mind once or twice before but why does it have to be my car?

Ill buy it for $50k if theres 100k hiding in it!

Is the guys serious. Why doesnt the guy personally come and talk to you instead of his friend...?

If you can sell it for more than what you pay'd, and even a grand more... sell it and another will pop up...

I have a guilty mind and I know I'm ripping that dude off. It's just the fact that I see more cb's on the road now and now all of a sudden, someonme's offering double for mine than what I paid for it.

                  kinda weird!!

but that does throw up a red flag...why doesn't that ACTUAL person come forward and show you the greenbacks...if this is a real transaction waiting to happen!

                  get an alarm or something!

                  thats just too weird.

either that "Friend" is retarded....OR something is up!!!

NOTE: make the transaction at a bank..so the bank can go through the bills and make sure those bills are REAL and not counterfit!

                  ^ thats a SERIOUS note!

I've seen alot of people get fucked by a treetrunk that way! :
92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!

you're not ripping him off. you're even telling him theres others for cheaper and he still insists on buying yours. it's all a bit odd, if you ask me.

but honestly man, if someone came up to me right now and offered me almost $2000 more than what i bought my car for (mines stock too), i'd probably take it. with $4000, you can easily find another one thats in better condition and still have a bit left over for upgrading it.
