I always used to think I was alone in getting these, I've noticed garlic that is diced too large is a big culprit. I don't get them very much anymore.

I studied them a while back, and came to find out a lot of people have them, but its something that is/was rarely discussed so everyone always thinks they're alone in having it, but they're not.

It is not a result of poor hygiene, in fact, when many people first discover them go into a hygiene craze, brushing every hour, trying a myriad of mouth cleaners, etc., to no avail.

Most dentists disregard them, having little or no understanding of them. For some, removing the tonsils relieves it, because the stones often "grow" in caves in the tonsils. But for some, they continue.

The most useful thing people have found, is to remove them with a water pick, basically a device that can shoot a small stream of water to dislodge them. Just clean them out as they come along.

It can be trouble having them, because they give you terrible breath, and are often the leading cause of it.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

I used to get em a lot. Haven't in a while. Hurts to hock em up, and I always seem to have a sore throat at the same time. I'm definitely a mouth breather (smashed my nose when I was a kid... did some real damage... a few good shots in fights when I was younger probably didn't help either)
so true I have had these never knew what they were and their name. They use to scare me a bit because I disnt know what cause them, I thought they had something to do with left over bacteria from a cold or flu.

I rarely get them, but when I do its first thing in the morning, right after brushing my teeth. I think I dislodge them when I "gargle."
MR Thread- I brought SEXY back- LOL
If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacement anyway.

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with with experience!!!
