you have a kid...then your kid gets friends...then you have drive those little things around...not in your souped up cb.............but a minvan............wrap it
my first kid I had was when I was 17. now at 24, I have 4 and one on the way. My social life is still there. My life isn't over. I love my kids to death. I still have my cb7 and still fixing it up. But family first before my cb7. I don't drive a mini van. My wife drives the cd5, and our minivan is a 2002 escalade sittin on some small ass 20's. We are also a proud homeowner of our brand new house. So for my experience, life was and still is hard financially. But when you come home from work, at least you come home to a loving and warm family. My advice though, stay in school kids. Having kids at an young age is really difficult. I would know.

I forgot to mention, my dad died when I was 17. My mom doesn't work. she is on SSI. I'm taking care of her and my younger sister who is slow. I worked to where I am now. And it was really tough. still is. I thank God to where I am now. He made me a very good Honda Tech and My wife a Good Operations Supervisor at WAMU.

Babies complicate anyone's life. Keep it wrapped until you are both financially and psychologically mature.

That is immeasurably true. It doesn't matter who you are, or where you're at in life, a child makes things more complicated. Well worth it, I'm sure... but complicated nonetheless.
However, 93twodoorLX has managed to keep his CB7 looking and running great... in the 15s with an F22A1... with a babyseat in the back His son is 3 now, and is finally getting to the age where he can understand a bit about what's going on with the car. He loves it, and he always wants to work on the CB7. In another 4 or 5 years, that kid is going to be turning wrenches himself! I envy that (I'm glad I can be an uncle!) Sean was also 17 when his first son was born. Did it complicate his life? For sure. He grew up quick. Did it ruin it? Certainly not. He's got 2 great kids (one just born... I have to see the little guy still!), a loving wife, and a job that he's working hard at. He's not living easy, but his life is far from ruined. He's got all that to come home to every night!
