Is it just me or does it seem like every magazine you pick up has nothing but articles/features on cars, I'll never be able to afford, like the Skyline, 350Z and S2000??? Where are the old school Hondas and Acuras at? I just wish we got a little more attention when it comes to features in magazines. Even a fifth gen with an H swap here and there would be cool. I mean don't get me wrong, I do like the fact that are cars aren't super popular bc I like to drive something different. Not just some same old Civic, Cobalt or SRT-4. I'm just askin for a little more love when it comes to Accords. Maybe I'm reading the wrong mags. Lately I've been reading Super Street and Sport Compact. Honda Tuning is hard to find for some reason. Anyone know of a better magazine to buy???

the majority of the crowd are not accord owners, with that being said, they do want to see what they dream about.
Honda tuning is a pretty good magazine but it still features NSX's and Mugen'd out civics and what not.
the ratio of civic to accord owners is what you are going to see int he magazines.
ive been trying to find more discussion about motor builds for accords even the h22 so i am actually on honda-tech some of the time. but everything is D, B and K series this.
it's just that we need to pioneer through shit which is actually better than the companies spoon feeding us.

Project Car Magazine. It's not a monthly, but it's worth waiting for. They pretty much focus only on cars that everyday kids can afford, and they work through mods that everyday kids can afford as well. Not really a "hey, look at the pretty pictures" kinda mag, but more of a DIY mag. Cool stuff.
I agree with the Euro magazines. I rarely see any Domestics that really impress me. Other than the classics, that is... the new ones... meh... they all look the same. Any that don't look bone stock often look overdone (there are a few that are really nice looking that I've seen... but not enough).
We're saturated with the Japanese offerings. We know what's good. We know what's impressive. Honestly, when it comes to Euro cars, I don't know what to expect! I know the strengths and weaknesses of American Muscle. I know a hell of a lot about the popular Japanese cars. But when it comes to European cars, I've found myself thinking "does anyone even tune a Mercedes Benz?" (I know there are plenty of MB tuners, and plenty of insane MBs out there... as well as BMWs, Audis, VWs, etc...)
I picked up a BMW magazine not too long ago, and it was the coolest thing ever. The things people do with the old 80s 3 and 5 series... some absolutely breathtaking cars that made a hell of a lot of power!

i believe that euro cars are a new edition to the american market. all we had before was the bmw and that was it. most people that liked euro cars, had no other choice that the bmw's....
now we got a few more aditions. vw and audi are impresive cars. but their performance parts market is not growing as fast as the market for japonese cars. don't get me wrong. there is a big market when it comes to the euro cars, but its not here in usa.
ps. i am sick too of seeing only honda civic and s2000 and integra. what happen to the other cars. i am prety sure and i have seen it that with enough money you can have a crazy h22 that can shit all over the k series swaps.are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet
