hey a buddy of mine is experimenting with forum building... www.cityimportnights.com not trying to compete with cb7tuner or any other sight.. just playing around come in and check it out make suggestions... taking applications for mods..hehe

core informer has the ability to be big.....tech forums are fun,

he should have the forum be a function or feature....and have a site above it informing us of cool tech news and such

he'd make a fair amount of money from the AD's.

There are A LOT of forums in existence right now and everyday 100 million more pop-up. To have a successful forum they'll need to do something big and do something different. It seems most forums just appear but, are like any other that already exist and have a dedicated user base. Tell him to make it different, offer the people info or something they haven't seen/read before.
