Anyone know type of video file i need to download to make a dvd that i an work on my car dvd player

it should play your regular dvd files....mpeg.....avi....divx.....

What kind of dvd player do you have?

download as avi and if you have windows dvd maker , you're golden.

Well you need to figure out what is supported.

Do you have the box/manuals?

if you bought it second hand chances are its fucked.

if you bought it brand new im suprised you didnt research that first.

I think Nero has software that will convert. I made a DVD once... it was a pain in the balls.

The next DVD player I buy (standard, car, or handheld video player), it'll have DIVX capability!

burning movies is easy....but im not familiar with making movies for car dvd players..i mean it should be the same thing.

Get nero man....and dvd shrink...u be ok.;
