Help me pic a digial camera

yes im a consumer and a smart one... but i need the help of you tech heads..

i have a very small selection of camera's where im located in the world right now

one is the sony cyber shot wsc 80 and the other is the samsung L77 they both are under 250 which is my price range.. not sure if i should get one or the other...here are a few others but they are above 300 and a few i forgot to m ention

i had the kodak easy share 6 megapixel but i broke it on an airborne operation..ill post the video later !!!

so now im looking at the samsung L77 and sony cybershot wsc 80

My personal opinion would go to the Sony.

My p&s is a Sony Cybershot 3.2 and its been through my tour in Korea and all over...its really easy to use, takes awesome pictures and its durable.

This is a shot taken with my 4 year old 3.2



No photoshop or anything.

My gf and her sister both have Canon p&s and they are really nice. Her sisters is the higher end and it contains features that allow you to isolate color and stuff like that.

i didnt mention it because he said he only has access to the sony and the samsung.

i have access to more... but.... i think they are higher priced.. im gonna look again see what they got....hey have the cannon rebel..but its out of my price range..!!

i need a little P&S for under 200... canon SD series are well known for being great little camera's.

went ahead and grabbed the dsc-80 sony cyber shot... seems like a bad lil camera for a good price.. but.. i dont think it will take my 2 gig SD card... i think it runs a proprietary ''dual stick'' or something like that... bleh.........

i like the idea of the l77 samsung with the non moving lens... but the price turned me off of it... i think it ran for 260 cbyer shot was about 40 cheaper
