AEON FLUX

Ĉon Flux is an avant garde American science fiction animated television series that aired on MTV. It premiered in 1991 on MTV's Liquid Television experimental animation show as a six-part serial of short films, followed in 1992 by five individual short episodes. In 1995 a season of ten half-hour episodes aired as a stand-alone series.

I keep trying to get my friends to watch it... nobody ever does. That show is just unreal. Probably the only anime to really creep me out.

Hell yeah!


Can't say I've seen berserk or basilisk mentioned yet, but those are good too.

and of course who can forget Outlaw Star or FLCL


On a side note, I started my anime experience with Evangelion...
Talk about fucked up way to get in to anime, but atleast it wasn't berserk!

If you want pointless blood and violence, M.D. Geist comes to mind. It's an older anime and it had no real story line of plot development. As previously mentioned Gantz has gore galore. You might also check out Samurai X, as it has some good action scenes. Samurai X was made into a series called Rurouni Kenshin, but the series contains much less action.

If you want some plot development with some action then you might check out Neon Genisis Evangelion and Infinite Ryvius. Now I gotta stop talking about anime or I'll be here all night.

BTW I was sure than Aeon Flux was Korean animation, not Japanese.

i've been on a craving for the funny animes and the ones with great story lines

- The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (funny with a interesting story)
-Jungle Was Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu (funniest one yet and i'm only 2 episodes in. Even the opening credits are funny)
- Ranma 1/2 (long time favorite)
- Deathnote (GREAT first session!!1!11one)
