I dont quite get it...is it basically like ebay where you have to outbid the other ppl or what? And whats that "you can only buy 3" limit? Is that items oer day or what? It says they only have one item per day anyway, so how can u buy 3? Many questions....FAQ did not answer....

normally, the site only has lots and lots of one item per day, say a set of headphones. when they sell out, there is nothing more to buy that day and you have to wait until midnight central time to see the next one. you can buy up to three sets of headphones, no more.

for every order, no matter if you order one, two, or three, shipping is only 5 dollars no matter what. during a woot-off, like is going on now, they start another item immediately after the previous one sells out. you can buy up to three of each item.

there are always some rediculous stuff during a woot-off, but is still funny. there is almost always a "bag of crap" that they sell for $1 plus shipping. you have to click "buy three" on these, or you dont get anything. you get three "craps" in one bag. these bags vary from everything from a bag of smashed laptop pieces to a plasma screen TV. no matter what you get in your bag of crap, it is always worth more than the $8 you pay (each BOC is $1 and shipping for all three is $5).

the reason people check in a lot, especially during a woot-off is because there are only a select number of pieces of each item. there are only 1000 bags of crap per time that they are listed, but sometimes there is only 5 or 15 of an item, and that item is usually really cheap, or really demanded, like a 4 gig SD card for 20 bucks. the sooner you see it, the sooner you can buy it, the more likely that you will actually get it before the dreaded sold out sign comes up.

thats why i'm still up. lol. 3:41 am and i have a class at 10 tomorrow. i already got the bluetooth headset. my old one broke. these mice are getting annoying tho

So if something comes up, say a 4gig SD card for $25.
A) Will they tell you how many they have?
B) Can you buy it right away or wil you have to battle someone for price?

A BOC sounds like a decent deal. Id hate to pay $8 for a bag-o-laptop pieces, but i wouldnt mind getting an LCD TV for $8 either

This might be something i get into once i really figure it out and learn some of the tricks

1. they only tell you how many they had after they all are sold, getting people to buy early in the sale.
2. the only battle is the mad rush to get them all before they are sold out. its like best buy on black friday (after thanksgiving). the prices dont vary from advertized, but they may only have a couple of them.

And all you gotta do is click "i want one" and you got it? Sounds pretty easy.
