    What is it called??

Whats the mechanism or system called, when installed, their sensitive to music and or sound?

I saw a video on youtube with this dancing to darude's sandstorm in his bedroom and his lights went with the beat.

I want to find it again, so if i have the name of the process or whatever, it would be easier,

    thanks!

sounds like the lights are just taking a voltage signal from the equalizer and adjusting brightness accordingly.
