I argree, I have Att and i do not think i would buy would until they allow it to be on the 3g nework , i have heard of people getting 3000.00 phone bills and seen bills come in boxes so until they fix the problems that have with the serivce and bring out 2nd gen i phone i dont belive i will buy one. Apple messed up by only locking into one service provider and then that provider setting aside an super expensive service lines for that phone.I have a samsung blackjack on the 3g network and dont any problems. att and apple got greddy and screwed up.
Blame the service providers, not Apple. They wanted it on every network, but only AT&T would add in the services necessitated by the available features.
so far from the truth, i work there, especially have EXTREMELY close ties to the tech dep(well the little we can work on those phones), so i know everything about the quality and quirks
the reason for the huge increase in bill prices are not SERVICE PROVIDER, as you know theres has been no huge recalls of any sort w/this phone, the only problem know to-date, was when the phone image voicemail(i call it that), didnt initialize when first activated
also reason is for just plain customer stupidity, OBVIOUSLY if you have an IPHONE and what the best of what comes w/it, you get a plan, you dont just txt msgs, internet and download away!
i've seen bills like 1.5k and up b/c of outrageous internet chrgs b/c
1) they didnt have a plan to suite their jitters when they first got the phone
2) they wanted to showoff more-or-less so they didnt know what some things cost, hence the internet chrgs and......
3) all IPHONE comes w/internet and txts msgs plan from the start, i believe that only the 2 lowest plan comes w/some sort of limit for the internet but after that its unlimited
although i've played w/the phone, theres others that i would get, like that e90, but the IPHONE are more for habitual multimedia users than common users(unless you like to show-off)

I did gagoogity that girl. I gashmoigitied her gaflavity with my googis. And I am sorry.
btw, we werent the first to want to monopolize the iphone, verizon was the first to get the deal but apple wanted to call the shots, verizon didnt like that so they dropped the ball
we picked it up b/c we wanted all the profits to our network, but we could care less about COMPLETE CONTROL......

Im not sure if you were talking to me or not, but you kinda said what I said in a roundabout manner. AT&T is the only one with the iPhone because they were the only ones willing to comply with Apple's demands.
As much as I would have LOVED an iPhone on Verizon, I have a feeling it would have sucked, because they would have put that ever so crappy OS of theirs on it, instead of the OS X based OS on the iPhone now.
never. I am completley satified with my motorolla slvr, that i dont think i would ever buy or want to buy another phone. (Damn technology for that is soo old now)
I bet every person here would get an iPhone if it were available for your carrier and it only cost $150.00.
iPhones are sweet, you can't deny that.
