Not to shit on your preference (because ultimately, thats what it comes down to), there actually isnt any imaginable way OTHER than preference to say that the Zune is better. Apple has officially rendered all technology featured on the Zune obsolete.

Actually as kickass as the Ipod is

Zune has bigger screen with nicer resolution.....plus the interface is actually very clean.

Zune is just a bit bulky.

Even though their ipods are very practical, and when i had mine used it a lot, but when it breaks for no reason, crashed for no reason, refuses to charge, then what do you do.

Ipod's are like BMWs, they are really nice and classy, but when they get a little bit old, they turn into pieces of shit that arnt reliable, break for no reason, and cost a shit load to fix.

Yeah. Peoples iPod's break. If you are that worried, get 3 year apple care, they have VERY good service.

I've had mine for Almost 3 years with ZERO problems.

The iPod has a higher resolution screen that is very bright, but it is smaller than the Zune's. But IMO is easier to view and see, plus this new full touch screen iPod (which I've been assuming would come out ever since they announced they put a lot of money into researching touch screens, then came out with iPhone they would have to put it into iPod some how.) completely takes care of the size difference.

And iPod has way more support for products that are compatible with it, including many audio systems and auto makers.

I don't understand how you can be anti apple. In most cases they just make a better product, not because of the hardware but because of the software. Not to mention their hardware is MUCH more attractive and usually takes up a smaller amount of space.

I dont give a fuck about the ratings. All i know is mine stopped working for no reason, and a whole bunch of other people who had them had problems with them. One of my friends was listening to theirs, wasnt moving the ipod or anything, it was sitting on a table and it just crashed and stopped working for no reason.

Remember when the ford fusion came out, and ther was this commercial saying the fusion was rated better than the camry and the accord. Guess what it said at the botton in small letters. "Tested by Ford enthusiasts". Thats the same reason that Apple has high reliability ratings.

Plenty of peoples iPods break, how well are they taken care of. Becuase I know more people's that don't break then do. And when they have over 70% of the market share (last time I checked) I'd say they are doing alright.

How is the Zune's reliability doing? I wouldn't trust much from microsoft, many of the good products they make the buy from someone else. Since they made the Zune and it's 1st generation... eh. I don't know.

Does anyone else wonder why microsoft releases windows updates constantly, and then on top of that release updates to fix the previous updates that actually made matters worse. Great way to run a HUGE company.
