Are you talking about a Slim or the older Fat console? I have had one of each.. The older Fat version gave me all kinds of trouble.. Not no more though.. I have sold them both.. Later

Some 1 said that the SLIM ps2 cant handle FINAL FANTASY very good

it depends on some. not all ps1 games will play on ps2 dunno why...

i kno i played a couple of PS games on my PS2 when i got mine. i think it was just a kink they had with the system when it 1st came out.

yeah. i just came from a web site( i think its wipika.com or something like that.) and it was giving the specs on the PS2. it said the slim version was a revised version of the PS2. the slim version could play playstation games that the PS2 couldnt. but then again there were still games that had bugs in them the didnt allow the PS2(either the regular or slim version) to play the games.
