Nevertheless NASA deliberately timed Apollo launches, and used lunar transfer orbits that only skirted the edge of the belt over the equator to minimise the radiation. Astronauts who visited the moon probably have a slightly higher risk of cancer during their lifetimes, but still remain unlikely to become ill because of it.

Man, I'm tired. I worked 8:30 am to 9:30 pm today, which sucks about as bad as it sounds, this was on 3-half hours sleep, but I took a pep pill towards the end of the shift to keep me going, there was another guy taking what looked like day-quil, is that stuff narcotic like nyquil? I saw him suck down a "shot" and asked, "Are you keeping yourself up, or putting yourself down?" Then I realized he was gonna be operating power equipment all night. He works 7pm to 7am. Oh well, do what you gotta do I guess...
Just stay away from his forklift if you value your safety...
I'm sure someone here works worse shifts regularly, what do you take to keep you going?
