Wait so which one was it? the metallic blue one?
It wasn't the green one, right? cause that one is his dads?
i will cry if he wrecked the green one.
this is what happens, man. do NOT give your kid all this power. shoulda left it stock, at the very least.
he did deserve it. It was not smart. I would NOT trust myself with a car that has more than three hundred to the wheels. becuase i know i would fuck shit up.
plain and simple.
oh and i saw that thing on hogan knows best, where he gets mopar to sponsor him getting his d1 license. I would have been PISSED off too. Im sure you all saw them interviewing every one else, and they were saying shit like "we spend money out of our pockets for tires and parts, and we start with these cars (he's standing next to a 240) and this kid comes in sponspored by mopar with a viper...
yeah, i think he kinda deserved it. i sure hope he learned something...

and the second part of ur statement.... so what, his situation is his situation... it has nothing to do with any of us.... i take pride in working for everything i got... i couldnt give a fuck less if someone else has a supra... it doesnt mean that my car isnt everything i want it to be...
so because he has a nice financial situation he deserves to almost lose his life?Last edited by J-specCb4; 08-27-2007, 01:58 AM.

He apparently made a decision, and it was wrong. Simple as that. It can happen on any day to any law abiding citizen.
The problem with speed is you have little time to react. The police have made no implications as to what is going on, so I find it odd that people here are.
All they said was "high rate of speed." If the speed limit is 35 and he was doing 45, then that COULD be considered a high rate of speed. Problem is, the term "high rate of speed" is non-specific.
Part of the problem with inexperienced drivers in high performance vehicles, is that they don't have the ability to recognize the limits until it is unsafe. It happens to people all the time flying airplanes. They may be doing something that they have no idea is about to result in a problem, because they don't know better, and thus can't compensate or correct for it.
Even experienced people have shit go wrong sometimes. I lost 2 people at my school 2 years ago because something went wrong during a practice routine for an aerobatic show they were going to put on. Both men had flown fighter aircraft for their entire military careers. Both men had flown thousands upon thousands of hours worth of aerobatics. Both men KNEW what the hell they were doing. But something went wrong.
How do you know that something else besides his poor driving abilities, didn't precipitate the crash?
Honestly, in most likeliness, it didn't, but I think it would be safe to reserve judgement until it is known for sure.

Hulk Hogan's son in a bad car accident: One critical and another seriously hurt
Clearwater, Florida- Hulk Hogan was on the scene Sunday night after a crash involving his son and another man. Clearwater police say Hogan's son, who's really name is Nick Bollea, lost control of his Toyota Supra around 7:30 p.m.
Bollea and another male passenger were extricated from the car by paramedics and airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
Nick has been seen on his father's reality show "Hogan Knows Best."
Friends identify the passenger as 22-year old John Graziano. He is listed in critical condition. Nick is 17 and his condition is not being released because of his age.
Witnesses say the Supra was racing a silver Dodge Vipir at the time but police say it's too early to know for sure what led to the crash.
A Clearwater police sergeant heard the crash and was the first to respond to the scene. Paramedics in the area arrived just minutes later.

This is a wake up call for him. irregardless of his financial situation, wether it was a Supra worth in excess of two hundred K, rated at 1000 hp, or a little five hundred hp civic that was built for five grand, He needs to see that this is something that he can't handle. Unfortunately, he had to find out the hard way. He should thank god he's not dead, and hopefully, everything on him still works right.
I dont knock the kid. Hell if my parents were rich, I'd probably have an MK4 too. I just know it wouldn't push that much damn power, becuase i know i'd kill myself with that much.
my dad occasionally works for the CHP, towing cars from accident scenes. We do so little to my Supra to make it go faster, because he's seen all of the accidents where young, inexperienced drivers are DEAD because their car had way too much power for them to handle.
I shit you not, he took me to work and showed me a mark THREE Supra was was cut in half at the impound yard. he told me that car and an eclipse were racing, and the dude in the Supra broke traction, and slammed THROUGH a telephone pole. you have to be going fucking FAST to do that.
