Substituting Factory fog light switch? 56k warning

Okay so I plan on buying a set of these for my car in a week:



They are a set of yellow fog lights for a 96-98 Honda Civic and I saw that a couple of members over at AT.com have them installed on their rides. I particularly don't want to use the factory switch because where the fog light switch delete panel is located (to the right of the clock) I have an LED in there for a security system.

My question is would I still be able to use this type of switch to control it?



The switch itself is going to be yellow since it would control the fog lights. And red for the rear fog lights and green or blue for the sub woofers.

Basically a three in a row set of switches right where the black bezel is around the shifter.

You'd have to splice it though. You don't have any spaces for it on the console? I'd be more tempted to dremel to fit that one in.

No, plus I like the look of having switches on the center console. I think it looks better.

thoes look really cool. yeah, you could use the round switch if you wanted. it's really easy, actually.

Those are 100% better then the OEM....my bro just picked up a 94 and it came with stock fogs and i think those would look way nicer....do it....and yea you can basically use any switch you want as long as its wired up correctly....

and i agree, Center console ftw!

ok so it's set in stone.

Although I am undecided...Yellow Fogs or White Fogs.

Remember I have a Sherwood Green paint job on mine (similar to yours actually)
