    got a new job

Going on 3 years now i have been working at a Sonic in Mcloud, oklahoma as a cook and car hop, (decent job, paid for my h22) but my friend works for Joe Cooper Ford and i got hooked up with a job there. I am the lotporter, bottom of the totem pole but after 90 days i get an automatic 3 dollar an hour raise to $9.50 an hour to clean the shop and drive cool cars like cobras and lightnings. There might be an opening for oil change tech and i have already been talked to about it and have only been there a week! it pays $11 dollars an hour and you work on comission so i can have like 100 hour paychecks and be pulling some bank. i get fords discount on cars and part at dealer cost + 10% (i.e. cheap tires like toyo and yokahama.)

That's some kickass pay man! I used to work for a local honda dealer that was really tight with their money (even though they had money to spare). I started out with 7.50/hr. I was told I may be getting a raise after 90 days... 90 days came and went. I quit after working as a lot attendant for 7 months.

Anyway good luck with your job! shoulds like it'll be alot better then the place I worked at

I have been told the same, and what I find is people simply forget about raises promised during the interview. They just need a little reminding.

if I got a raise at that place it would have been for about $0.25-0.50 /hr. I'm pretty glad I left.
