Here's a clue. What do you think life is about? You're almost to the age where you will begin working for your food and you won't quit until you die (or retire, which you'll probably die first since they keep raising the min. retirement age).

You will work for someone that makes more money and holds more responsiblity than you. Sound like something you already know about?

You will be expected to live up to THEIR standards. Again, sound familiar?

You will have the exact same option then as you do now, which is quit being a pussy and suck it up or stfu up and gtfo. The former will not be easy, but will allow you to survive in life. The latter, well, think about it.

Funny you should mention the military. All it's good for is a fucked up life and an ugly wife, and in my case a shakey set of nerves. Good try tho.

I enjoyed being the only child growing up. My mom had only one ME! in 1985. So, thats the best thing about being the only child, Hella fun in the early 90's! Freaknik was fun as hell, Hip-Hop was much better that all of this stupid "Walk It Out", "2 Step", "Buy U A Drank" music. It was all good.

I also had fun in my early teen years, too. Now, teens are going crazy since Columbine. Two people were gunned down at Greenbriar Mall last month (those of you in the ATL should have heard about that). The world is really hectic now, but it might get better. Bush has screwed up everything as usual. I'm now 21, turning 22 and I'm still having fun. As soon as I start working on my CB7 and finish it really soon, I'LL BE HAVING LOADS OF FUN!!

first of all, my parents had to watch me only until I was six. Then, When I was SIX YEARS OLD, I baby sat my fucking sister. They work.

I am the oldest in my family, so unless you were the oldest, babysitting a fucking girl since you were in fucking kindergarten

and if you have, i cant understand why you wouldn't be able to see where I'm coming from.

You already know that 98% of what your parents say and do to you is annd will be for your better benefit. It may not seem like it, but it will. As for your age, if your under 18 or 17, you really dont have a choice but to do what they say. If you have a job and you bought your car, why do they get to say what you can and cannot do to your car? What if you do something to your car they dont approve of? If you bought it, they cant take it away from you.

Your at that shitty cusp. Your old enough to have a job and buy things, but you still need your parents living life. I was there. Unfortunately it ended with me yelling at my mom. We eventually got over it, but it happens. And at the rate things seem to be going in your house, your gonna end up having a knock-down-drag-out fight with your mom. One or both of you will end screaming and/or crying and it'll be pretty ugly for a few days. If she continues to be oppressive and a "bitch", deal with it until you find a way out. For both of your sakes, i hope it turns out good.

You really just need to sit her/them down and explain, and show, to them that you are a growing man/kid/person and that you appreciate and understand their rules and decisions, but you need some space. You need to go out with your gf - w/o your sister. You bought and paid for your car(right?) and its yours to do with what you please. You may want to do crazy or "stupid" things to it, but your smart enough not to go running it head-on into a wall or 5 o'clock traffic. But let them know that you still need guidance and that you dont "know everything". Trust me, to a certain degree, living on your own/paying bills is easy but it cant get difficult if your not careful.

Whether it takes sitting them down or screaming and yelling, you ultimately need to be venting/ranting to them, not us. Not that we dont enjoy helping you out, but in order for things to change, or start changing, theyre the ones that need to know how you feel. GL and i hope it works out for you dude.
