i know its not a misfire(ALS) system... so what does a rev limiter do?

i know the obviously reason is so you dont blow your motor. But a FLAME THROWING rev limiter? Is that safe for the motor? Does it make it look like the car has an ALS?

you'd be better off with a msd setup or a chipped ecu. my chipped ecu cut the fuel off at 3500 for launch control.

systems such as this arent a microprocessor addition to the ecu. all they are is a few electrical resistors that retard spark thus causeing a misfire. most systems like this will only misfire one or two cylenders, though it can limit rpms it is absolute hell for your motor, not as bad as floating valves or anything, but it causes a lot of premature wear. also, a system like this can be MADE for under 50 dollars, that tells you its... prehistoric nature.
