That is ekoo's car, the owner / lead admin of VAC (Vancouver Accords) I believe. I dont know if hes a member here. But that car, is sickly fast. Look closely, you'll see wheel spin when he takes off, and he isnt going remotely slow.

He is a member here but he had got into an argument about some bs with this site and his because people wouldnt come over to his site or he was buthurt because he was flamed and no one cared that he was an admin on VAC so he left and never came back i dont think.

            His ride is cool tho.

Not bad... but the owner of the car really makes me like it less. I searched and read the thread he made. Not a fan.

Also, there are some people (*cough* Ralphie *cough*) that should be glad that I didn't find that thread until now... though it was well deserved, that was some crazy flaming in the Beginner forums!

Ekoo is a nice guy, truly. But he doesnt have tolerance for what he thinks is silly and not useful. Hes got a LOT of knowhow, but theres a bit of an ego there too. Thats all.

I can see reasoning behind the beginner section, but at the same time I can see the frustration of people who actually have great knowledge and have to help or advise people who just dont get it, or deal with some of the uhh... 'riff-raff' that seems to persist..

Though I have and do, I hate trying to teach people things they cannot understand, or morso people who dont have genuine interest. Call me selfish but I am pretty sure I am not the only one.

                Oh well.

I totally agree... I find it frustrating as well.

Honestly, if he PMed me and said "I'm the administrator of another large Accord site, can I bypass the 30 post requirement?" I would probably have done it for him. As the admin of another large forum, with a highly modified car of his own, he would have already proven to me that he was capable of playing in the big-kids forum.

However, he chose to publicly criticize the methods of this forum. He thinks he's special... and for that very reason, I put the dumbest noob ahead of him in terms of respect. If you can't show it, you don't get it. I hope he never has problems with idiots, scammers, or spammers on his site... or he might have to resort to such tactics himself! That, or he'll just do what they do on other, lesser, boards... and take sides. I've been on plenty of boards where the mods and admins simply throw their weight around. They are right, everyone else is wrong, and they make the calls. Here, we try to prevent the issues before they arise... so nobody has to take sides. It doesn't always work, but honestly, it's better here than ANY other forum I've been one (and that goes way back to the days of ATX, so I can't take full credit for that... probably not even half credit)
