    CRX w/h22

    I got ahold or a CRX what would I need to do a h22 swap in my CRX?

    hasport axles
    hasport wire harness
    hasport motor mounts
    hasport shifting linkage
    fuel pump

    hmmmmmmmm

    thats all i can think of right now

      upgraded front suspension..get some stiff coilovers.. it may bounce lol.. but it will help hold that motor up.. and dont get crx coilovers.. get coils that are the same length or near the same but made for a heavier car.. i.e integra..

      umm.. i believe u have to get a hammer and knock the firewall back about 1/2"-1/4" to have some breathing room for the intake manifold..


      edit.. i know the h22a isnt all that much heavier than a b18c5.. but still.. an upgraded suspension would help..

      just saying this before the smart ppl start telling me.. h22a isnt a pig and crx will be fine blah blah blah.. lol

        actually there is a guy on honda tech that did it. he had to make a custom front crossmember and cut part of the fram on both sides looks like alot of work

          Actually I've read that the H22A sits diffrintly then the B18 engines. H22A's sit a bit more forword wile the B18's sit a bit more reclined. That offsets the balance a bit from what I've read on H-T.
