Any slipknot fans here?

Well....title says it pretty well. I've been a pretty hardcore fan for a couple years now and want to see if anybody has checked out new new album....like/dislike?


Personally, I like it. They have added some things and made it a little heavier. They also used a lot more percussion in this album compared to Iowa which seemed to be compeletely void of shawn and chris. Some of the acoustic stuff...it kinda has a stone sour feel, and I'm not sure if I care for that too much....at least coming from slipknot anyways.

The first cd fucking rocked!! 2nd was ....ehh some good some bad. Check out the 3rd, it's a little different sound so let it grow on you, I think you'll like it

I love that type of stuff, but I never got into Slipknot... I saw way too many poser metalheads evolving with the "new metal" that came into popularity a few years ago. I don't even know what to call them!

LOVED the first cd, not so much the second, third one is awesome.

iowa i think they tried to hard to be as hardcore as possible, due to the fact that they were sellin so much based on shock value. i think now they've settled into their music and all is right.
