Why would you hate VW because 1 car burns up?

How do you know it wasn't the owner's fault?

I had a couple guys behind me in the drive through once.

They were driving a newer Ford Ranger.

It caught fire (luckily, I had a fire extinguisher in the car).

It wasn't Ford's fault, the "super intelligent" drivers had draped about 10 10 gauge wires bare across the battery, and it hit the terminals and caught fire.

Just because the car burned up doesn't mean it is VW's fault. I have seen Hondas catch fire too.

Who ever said they hated VW's? Certainly not the original poster. He also never said that it was VW's fault for the fire, obviously that car was modified, and i am pretty sure its more likely that a modified car is going to be more likely for stuff like this to happen. Dont flame the poster, he never said anything, all he posted was the link.
