Flag I got in Iraq in 03

I just wanted to share this with you guys…. As I was looking for more parts to mail-out to you guys I found this…. It’s a flag that I took from a building that my squad helped secure in Iraq…. It was in March of 03….. My next door neighbor at the time was with us…. SGT Jacob L. Butler… I didn’t know the guy like all my other home boys…. But this dude was real cool…. I even gave him a few beers before we went to Iraq… I just want you guys to always think about the people in life that you meet… Some times people do get a second chance to do the right thing in there lives…. The people that pass around you should let you know that… So I keep this flag that I got and always think about what could have happened to me…. And all the guys that didn’t make it home….

Man... This was one of my home boyz..... He was a real nice kid... He died not to long after SGT Butler.... We did get the guys that did the shit... but.. The guys that didn't make it... We can never bring back... It makes me proud to have had a friend that is now a Hero...
