3000gt vr4... although super heavy... actually the lightest year ran a 13.2! (1994) and the heaviest ran a low 14 something.... but still i wouldnt want to even try to come up with repair bills for that thing.

Well the evo was introduced to the states in 01 right after the 01 phase out of the last gto/vr-4, so there were no other awd car's offered, however the evo was meant to take the place of both these awd(gsx/3000gt) options, so that mitsu could maintain an awd/turbo car in the market.

i would take a new wrx over a new si in a heartbeat. the wrx definetly looks better than that big bubble. also that wrx growel sounds so much better than the si. As for 5 years down the road with reiliabilty and market value id prolly take the civic. But my decision i would take the wrx for about 1.5 yrs and then trade it in for something else.
