My cars been at my mechanic for 2 weeks now waiting for him to install the turbo and everything else and I went in today because I need my car for a road trip and he said he was gonna start the piping and gauges among other things and when I went to pick my car up there was hardly anything done! They removed a couple of things from the engine bay for the piping, but he told me that he spent most of the day trying to figure out how to proceed. So I have my car back and I told him I would return it on Monday and asked if it would be ready by Friday and he said no. So I said well what about the week after? And he said yes, well thats about 4 weeks that my car wil be in his shop. Now I'm patient, but that is a long time, since he said the install would be ready by the end of May. Kinda pissed, but he is renowened for being slow like this, but he is a very good tuner, so thats why I'm getting it done there, still kinda pissed and I dont want to get angry or annoyed with him, anyone have any words that might help speed up this process? Just ranting right now. Have a good weekend I'm on my way to Montreal

Less money since he won't be doing the install rather he would tune the motor.

and if done incorrectly, it could cost you more to fix or replace it. a turbo with a slow or nonexistent oil feed will die in seconds, so don't "do it yourself" if you aren't sure you can handle it.
otherwise, the dude lied and is slow but you said you knew this beforehand, so you can simply take it somewhere else or just wait....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.

DIY DUDE!!!!
JB WELD grasshopper....JB WELD...after you drill out the hole for the bung ...for the oil return...you have to JB weld the bung into that hole.
not hard at all!! you just have to be patient..and let it dry!
but its true...if you dont have enough oil getting to the bearings of that turbo it will overheat and seize up!...NO SPIN!
then you will have to find another turbo and redo your lines!...make sure...you get a slightly bigger oil pan ...say 5 quart pan ( MOROSO ) some of the aftermarket oil pans have those bungs already welded on them!
you just have to look real around!92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!

we had a welder but the of course we were out of wire and i needed a quick oil line fix on a modded pinto (yes, pinto) so i used jb weld and you gotta be careful because some engines just naturally vibrate enough to break/crack the jb weld and then your oil line falls out.......thankfully the turbo went first and saved the motor but that's how "quick fixes" like jb weld can go.....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.

slap in the 5.0L 302 V8..and twin turbo it! NOW, thats worth seeing!
and with that 302...have the dual intake / dual throttle bodies..for the turbos!
