yes the targa top does leak the kid told me.

i really don't give a shit though, i just got a 2007 pontiac g5, so the supra would never be a dd.

I'm not sure what i wanna do yet....there is a possibility of me just rebuilding th 7mgte.stock rebuild with a good headgasket and arp head studs?don't know yet.

the car also coem with an electronic boost controler (baller), a 3" greddy (i think) exhaust and some cheap bov.

it should be a fun little project!

yeah dude. it should definitely be a sick project car. I want turbo so bad, its not even funny!

7M's are tuff little motors if maintained properly.

a good, noticeable mod, is swap out the cams and cam gears from a non turbo 7M.

The motor IS NOT BLOWN!

the car has an exhaust leak straight of the turbo wich makes it sound similar to a rod knock when in high gear/low speeds.

i got in the car and drove it off with the biggest smirk in my face cause the motor is solid.

the turbo is blown though.i started removing it but i cant find my tools cause we moved into this house just recently.the turbo has so much shaft play the compressor wheel has scratched the shit outta the housing its hard to tell in the pix.the seals are blown there is oil and coolant smell in the charge pipes.the car is not building ANY boost at all.

I'm looking for another ct26 and some hard pipes/intercooler and this should be ready to boost.

Wow, $800 for a mk3 with a good motor... sweet! Upgrade that turbo, watch the head gasket (the weak link on those cars), and enjoy! If I could deal with the gas mileage and another older car, I'd want one myself. I've played with Empera's car a little, and I like em a lot.
