the only Civic my family has owned was an '01 which i found to be how you say... weaksauce? i mean it got you from point A to point B fine it's just i'd like to get there a little quicker. i read this article somwhere how Honda engineers dropped the ball on the '01 civics...

I've seen three of them with a JDM front end conversion with one i think either being a true RHD or one that had the RHD clip welded on.

Other than that yeah theres a good amount of 240s around here now.

I've always wanted a black one but eh I think I'm going to hold back..I see a new fad arising.

Rayne, I agree with you totally.

                  I absolutely

                  HATE

                  the Silvia s13 chassis.

                  HATE.

They are big pieces of shit. A caged, stitch welded, fully braced one is only as stiff as a STOCK Skyline. It was Nissans budget sports econo car. Budget. Comparing the 240/s13 to a Civic, is by all means appropriate. They car perform well, with an assload of modification.

The only good thing about them is that they and their parts are cheap. So if you want a good budget car by all means go ahead. I would buy one for the sole purpose of killing it.

I never saw them when I lived in Mass. but since I moved to RI, I see more 240's than I do civics. I go to NEIT and everyone there has a 240. So I'd say in this area that I am living that they are "the new civic" lol.

Parts for those things seem to be a lot cheaper than honda parts too, like the engines. I was surprised how much cheaper the engines are than honda engines, but of course...they don't last nearly as long as honda engines so...I guess it sort of makes sense.

f22a's etc will run for a long time, when properly maintained, and driven normally. a ka24, sr20, rb20, etc are just as reliable when they are driven nicely, and properly maintained.

Fuck, rotaries are great when they are properly maintained.

Shit. I know of more blown up d16's around here than the Nissan KA motor.

um yeah HATA . I met the new objective team . Watch out these foo's got the duck walking down.

I raced a turbo 240sx. I was on my way to skool on Jack Hiway. This foo was too fast for me . I could barely here the exhaust but he could shift i give em that. I was flooring it and got WHOOOOOPED. Thats when I said fuck Honda but took no action .
