Ok why is it that people can love your car even sweat your car , I mean they drool over it , But since its yours u never can see the beauty in it , Ive built a few cars and Never can see what people see in them as much .... this question should have alot of opinionated answers , no flaming just give me some fun feedback and what you think is the reason for this , its seems we never are satisfied with what we have ....... LOL

because we know every little nuance that most people overlook. For example, i know that the passenger side where i molded my rear kit sticks out slightly more than the drivers side. There was a line where the body kit met the rear quarter and on the drivers side i maintained it all the way but on the passengers side it;s filled in a little. No one can notice probably, but i do. I also know that i forgot to put my bumpstop back on my front passenger side strut assembly. It irritates me because i havent had time to jack it up and put it back on. One of my valve cover studs is broken. etc etc....

It's all the little things that you know about your car that gives you that unsatisfied feeling sometimes. To most people your just a passing car on the street or maybe even a nice look in a parking lot. But you know where your flaws are. no one's perfect, nor is their car. except for typeG

it is basically cuz i know my car every flaw and in turn u learn to love it. dunno why but u get attached. same as getting a girl u know her and her flaw, soon u respect and love her more than ever

I know im satisfied in the reliablity of my car, the way it handles, and the overall appearance of my car- but i am not satisfied with the mods...meaning i still have things i want to do to her but within keeping priorites str8 ive realized for now i cant spend because its way to expensive.

But yea ive often pondered this myself. I think of it when people sit on here since 2003 and 6 months ago they are ready to quit...give up...because they have an electrical gremlin somewhere...

shit....I love my fucking car....more than anyone could...I'm literally obsessed. Everytime I get bored I find something else to mod (or atleast have friends to recommend shit). I get offers to buy my car every ither day from people that doesnt even understand the understand the mods made...they just want to buy it because they now I love it death and I take very good care of her

I think thats just a personality type. Im the exact same way, only its not just with cars, its with everything i do. i am NEVER satisfied with anything. Little Leage MVP? big whoop. Valedictorian? who cares. State Architecture champion? unimpressed. National YoYo champion? I could have been better.

Its a double edged sword really. On one hand, iv always succeeded at everything iv ever done. On the other, iv never really been happy with what iv done.

I made a thread about this awhile ago.. EVERY LAST PERSON wants a piece of my car at school! I mention the words "Im thinking of"....and "selling" , and they flip the fuck out and want to buy it! I dont know why!?!?! I want to sell it because i have never once been happy with it. never. My dad's health is not great, so I never have spare cash because im always helping out the family..I would lower my car etc, but cant afford it. because after all, we all know- family is first.
But jeez.... this is why I want a CD5.
