I got rear ended today

I rear ended by a Ford Escape today at a traffic light. With my left turn signal on and waiting for the light to turn green, a girl rear ends me. She told me was not driving too fast, but just let of the brake. I was shaken up and my neck/back was hurting.

After some x-rays, no bone damage, but a "cervical strain". I am wearing a neck collar, but the ER told me it will get better in a week.

they give you any pain killers? a buddy of mine hurt himself at work, and then while on crutchs he goes into a BW3s eattery and slips on a wet floor where no wet floor sign was placed. He now is waiting on a 25K settlement.

Right now I am just resting and will see my doctor tommorrow because the expense will be paid by either insurance companies.

The other driver rear ended me and is apparent from the damage, but I think she the new the cop. Do you think the cop will somehow indicate both drivers at fault rather than her only? I will get the police report and see.

i don't see how they could say it was your fault even though you had you turn signal on so that you could turn in the direction intended. most states have that law where if you get rear ended, the person behind you is at fault reguardless.

how safe are cb7s in rear end collisions?

I have a 90, do the front seatbelts tighten up during a rear impact when not moving? I can't remember if the seat belts tightened. The 92/93 front seatbelts are much safer.
