    Huge Rant!~

    THIS is pissing me the hell off

    so I go to buy my 2 things today, megan headers and blue radiator hoses.

    I'm all excited and I go to my grandma's to get a credit card and drop off some money and do whatever else but she wasn't there so I called her and said we would do it around 9 over the hpone. so I go online over there, not one place has blue hoses in stock, right now on ebay all there is, is red.

    so I'm like fuck ok grandma then we'll just order the headers tonight instead.

    I had the page up and looking at whaat I was giong to buy earlier at my grandmas(4) so happy.

    now I get ready to order and the fuckin site is down. andysautosport.

    wtf this is ***.

    btw off topic. I've already decided and all I see is 4-2-1 anyways but what is the big difference between 4-1 and 4-2-1 and which is better?

    4-1 goes from 4 pipes into 1 pipe
    4-2-1 goes from 4 pipes into 2 pipes then into 1 pipe

    4-2-1 is better

          i've heard shoddy things about Andysautosport.com customer service. I called once and the guy was a moron. A buddy of mine recieved a 5th gen body kit isntead of a 4th gen. And their shipping is outrageous. just IMO.

          If your looking for a Megan header (singular, but i digress) maybe you should check some more reputable online shops. My quick google search reveals racerwheel.com has ours on sale actually. Ebay has a ton of them too. check the shipping everywhere before you buy. good luck

            4-2-1 has more flow than 4-1...

            for example 1991 EX models have 4-2-1 while 1991LX have 4-1. EX has 5 more HP because it's 4-2-1 has more flow than the LX 4-1.

                Are you sure the only difference is the header?

                4-2-1 and 4-1 are designed for different goals. Hard to say which one is better or have a bigger increase in power without being more specific.

                  Off topic, but for information purposes, it needs to be addressed.

                  1) There is a lot more to overall flow than 4-2-1 or 4-1.

                  2) The ONLY difference between an F22A1 (LX, DX) and an F22A4 (1990-1991 EX) is the exhaust system.

                  It has a 4-2-1 tubular header as opposed to a crappy 4-1 manifold, as well as a freer flowing exhaust the rest of the way back.

                  3) Generally speaking, 4-1 makes more top end power, and 4-2-1 makes better midrange torque.

                  But then you get into such complexities as tubing length and diameter, and collector style/size etc, which are beyond the point of this conversation.

                  The DX/LX Accord DOES NOT have a 4-1 "header" so claiming that 4-2-1 MUST have more flow is silly.

                  Realistically, you won't see much difference with either, especially on a stock engine.

                  MR/OBX doesn't use the best of collectors, and they typically don't outperform the stock manifold, but they do look prettier.

                    I have my car planned. I'm not actually looking for power but more of show for no. I want to boost in the future which puts all this out of the way so I want something really really cheap for right now just to up my car just a bit. and make it sound nicer. Yes I'm all rice, I really don't give a fuck, it's about the driver.
