Buggin the hell out of me!!

There's are car on campus that I can't figure out what it is for the life of me and neither can any of my friends. It seems to be some kind of Nissan but it's shaved and has wierd tail lights and headlights and body. Its an older nissan for sure and from the VIN it's made in Japan.
    the vin is JN┴EJ01P┐NT┴07652
I found a VIN record check online but I guess it doesn't understand those wierd letters and that's the best I could come up with for it. If anyone knows how to translate this please let me know.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bryan

EDIT: It looks like a stanza but I can't tell for sure.

Degree of rice and performability are inversely related.

    JN┴EJ01P┐NT┴07652

    1. JN - Japan Car
    2. E - one of these engines: VE30DE; GA16DE; VG33E
    3. J0 - model/series: Maxima (J30)
    4. 1 - Body type: 4DR
    5. P - auto/passive seat belts
    6. N - Model Year: 1992
    7. T - manufactured in Oppama

That was a fun bit of decoding

Awesome, thanks palinix. And so the ┴ and ┐are just like spacers or something? Cuz when I put the whole thing in the automatic VIN decoder it said it was incorrect...

I'll take some pics tomorrow if I see it, even though we know its a maxima now, just so you guys can see it. It's really basic stuff for the most part I just couldn't figure out if it was a maxima or a stanza or something else.

Well the first symbol was supposed to be a 1, since JN1 indicated it was a made in Japan. The last two didn't really have any significance.

Lol, IDK why I couldn't tell... I always thought it was either a stanza or a maxima, but my friend was sure it was some kind of mitsu - like an old galant or something, which I knew was wrong, this thread was basically settling an argument.

LOL, I wonder if there's some dude on a Nissan forum somewhere posting a pic of a 92 Accord with a G square grill and the emblems/badges removed and asking everyone what they think it is. No offense at all intended, but there are tons of that model Maxi in my area and its just kind of funny
