theres a 91 lx coupe here for sale I went and looked at it

has no motor but has a 5 speed trans has no backseat no ac no ps no carpet

body is in great shape no rust just needs paint

guy wants 450 but I think I can get him down to 350

should I go for it?

might be one problem he cant find the title but he thinks he knows where it is

Check the suspension and wiring. Carfax it to be sure it was never hit.

And ask him WHY all that is missing!


Sounds like a good project, but I say offer $250. it's a rolling shell. It's an LX, so it doesn't even have alloys! Other than the rust-free body (and you being in Texas doesn't make that so much of a rarity), the car has nothing to offer. If you decide it's too much of a project, you'll have a hard time selling that... and aside from the 5 speed parts, there's nothing worth selling!

If you are planning on swapping the engine anyway, then it not coming with a motor doesn't make any difference, and $350 is not much money, I would say go for it if you're up for the work involved.
