    Suzuki Reno all the way!
The sedan looks very Saab-ish (and since they have many things in common, that makes sense)

I'm sure they'll grow on me, but right now... bleh.

why couldn't they just make minor changes and leave well enough alone? lol they took a sick car then put stupid looking headlights and a split grille on it for the 07's now they come up with this? They took a perfectly good car design and just tossed it. it went from a sporty looking sedan to a mid 90's econobox looking car

As a suby fan/owner, I will say that the exterior leaves something to be desired (aftermarket anyone?) but at least the interior is finally upgraded. The previous gen Impreza interior just didn't work. They didn't even bother making the center stack face the driver; it faced the passenger as if all they did to convert it from RHD to LHD was to move the steering column. That's pretty bad IMHO.

Just got the new issue of Motor Trend with this on the cover. I'm extremely disappointed. The front grille belongs on a Chrysler product, and the sedan looks like a Hyundai/Kia/Toyota Corolla. Not befitting of a sporty car at all. I think a big part of the problem here is the loss of the fender flares, and the new fenders (esp. the rear on the sedan, the wagon is better) have no blistering or flaring out or anything to set them off. [rant] Also, IMO the hatch is a wagon, and it bugs me that it keeps getting called a "hot hatch" (Motor Trend does it a million times in the article, not to mention on the cover). Why do I say this? First off, it has 4 doors. Second of (and more importantly), it's simply too long to be a hatch. When I think "hot hatch", I think GTI, Focus (simply to add an example of what I consider hatchback-sized, not because they're hot) the new Mazdaspeed3, etc. The WRX "hatch" is nothing new, a wagon has always been offered, they simply angled the hatch a bit more, and now it's gone from being a wagon to a "hot hatch". [/rant] I must say, the interior looks better though.

Ooh boo its the end of the world.

I bet 99 percent of you will change their minds within a year or two.

I for one think its looks alot better than last years model. As I said give it a year or a couple months and they'll come out with something potent.

Then you guys will be drooling left and right.

I knew somebody was gonna post this. IMO, this sucks. They're ugly, it's like they tried to fuse a Legacy with a Corolla. Well, the sedan anyway.
The hatch.....Chris thinks that Subaru is trying this because of rally. If you look at some of the current rally cars, they're hatches. Maybe they're trying to compete that way?? Hell, they may be trying to compete with Honda(the Fit comes to mind).

You gotta realize this too, a lot of people hated the newest gen of Impreza's when they first came out. It had a lot to do with the grill. I completely understand that, I hated it too. But it definitely grew on me, as it did with other people, and it may happen again, you'll never know.

Agreed on the ne grill but the previous one looks 10x better than the new one. Makes me appreciate the previous gen more plus zero sports made a really good lookin kit for the sti which drew my attention. But this one...its just ugly.

I believe the Evo is the only rally car at present that doesn't have a hatch variant being produced.

I swear Subaru was targetting the Mazdaspeed3 with the new WRX.

Evo wagon is available in other markets

EDIT: It should be noted that Mitsu currently does not have a factory sponsored team competing in WRC. I'm guessing they'll return to competition when the Evo X hits the market. There are a few teams running 2005-spec Evos though.
