Shit, in the same boat here. Working on Easter with 4 hours sleep. I became a God Father to my friends daughter last night. At church until 11:30pm. Happy Easter all.

Yay Easter!

You see, Jesus died for our sins, but ascended into Heaven. We eat chocolate, because it's brown, the same color as the cross... and there were bunnies and chicks under the cross as well. People painted chicken eggs and put them at Jesus's feet too. Then the Apostles all ate jellybeans out of baskets filled with grass, except Judas... because he was dead. He got a small sack of coins for ratting out his buddy Jesus... and then hung himself when he discovered that they were filled with chocolate! His coins were silver, but we obviously don't make chocolate filled SILVER anymore... so we have to go with gold.

So yeah. That's why we celebrate Easter! (nothing to do with Constantine bastardizing the Pagan holidays and putting Christian themes over them, so it'd be easier for the heathens to covert... no... not at all...)


Sorry for the sarcasm! I don't mean to offend anyone. Easter really is a joyous day to those of the Christian faith!

Ya, I wouldn't take offense to any harsh comment made here anyhow.....even though Easter is a very important day to me. Christ's ressurection, that's pretty hardcore if you ask me.
