WEll aside from all the chaos on here

Well ive looked around and ive took a trip to a couple of car dealers. And its imminent that i should be gettin another car. So ive talked to my moms and pops they told me oh you should get rid of both cars ive decided well maybe i should maybe i shouldnt. So they are like well your making enough now to where you can buy a sports car blah, blah, blah and that all this money ive wasted and wiped my ass with i could have brought a newer car by now and whatnot im like uhh okay whatever yadda, yadda so,so so they are like what car are you going to get.

I told them a lancer evo they said then okay now how much is the car i told them 31,000 they freaked like what back in my day and here goes me with the looking up into the ear with a distinct silence like saying tomyself god why now here comes the lecture. So inturn im like hmmm okay and they go so how much is the insurance I got a quote from geico and they told me $420 and after a loan for the car from the dealership they told me id be paying 369 for the SE model. The MR is redicoulously priced for what its worth even though its a nice car dont get me wrong but i can accomplish what i want with the basemodel evo honestly to get its point across.

Now as for my situation with the car I have to get back at the shop so until then imma get another longblock for the f22turbo connect everything back together to sell that off with the tranny for 3,00 perhaps get it painted I already handed in the plates for both the cars. And my parents are I know i made the comment earlier about that most of te people that get the evos are the ones that cant drive but im lazy about driving and i dont know about all the nonsense and I also dont know about the real cars value about whats so good about the se i know about the mr and all but i dont know but im leaning towards more on the 2006 model. I want everyones honest opinion because this is a big step for me sooooo what should i do?

damn sparkle, ur last paragraph had no periods...I was dying lol

Anyways, I probably would keep saving and just kept the type s as a daily driver and sell the other accord, but thats me...but if you are lusting for an evo, I guess you can get that as well. The bad part is that you will have monthly payments and a lot higher insurance...I guess what I am saying is just do what you want
    Yeah, Preludes

ive driven extensivly the evo and the sti, and ive got to say specially up north your gonna love the sti better man, the evo isnt that good on city roads man it feels like a lowered honda...

but i think u should sell the type s to someone in particular and keep on going with the boosted accord, and when your done with taht, race it a couple times and sell it do whatever you please.

i think its a good step up though.

I know man its early up in here I cant think straight and im very tired. I had the s as a daily driver its time for me to move on honestly. And heres another thing about my situation. I work from evenin to the am again and again. I cant keep coming home and go oh damn somethings wrong with this car again for whatever reason the time i step in my house its 12midnight. Last thing i wanna do it get a flashlight or lamplight to check out anything on the car. As far as the monthly payments and insurance i eat that up its nothing . I can always throw that at the dealer when its under warrantee yaknow.

really I see alot of people drive the evo and a few drive the STI mainly evo though id like to see what the hype is all about. I just feel the need to get something sporty with enough power fromt he factory with the reliability to match being that my funds and job can assure that. I have no kids no real bills. I pay my own way and im walking distance about 10 minutes away from my job and im a lazy bastard so i have to do something about that. Was the evos suspesnion modded in any way?

the evo has slightly more of an edge over the STI but i wanna know more about the different versions of the evo for example at the dealership/stealership my parents had me look at the evo SE they didnt have the regular basemodel evo nor the MR which i dont really want. So whats so special about the SE?

Yo Mike you home? Call me up man.

Obviously my opinion's kinda biased as I have an interest in what your decision is... but this is what I think you should do. You work like 2 blocks from your house... is it close enough to walk? If you're 100% about moving on, I'd sell both cars and bust my ass for a bit to get the biggest down payment possible for the EVO. Then I'd get like an '03-04 with low miles and some kind of pre-owned warranty. Honestly outside of having a new car I don't see the point in having a brand new one when they haven't really changed it much over the past 4 years. Yea the new MR has the 6spd tranny and the shark fins... but I sat in one... the interior is like my friend's '02 Lancer, AND it's well over $40K.

A decent used EVO goes for like 23-25K. Shop around cause the dealers are just out to rape you w/no lube. And try and get like 10-15K sitting on your dresser before you head to that dealer. You have like 6-7K in the two CBs, you don't need a car, you'll get some $$$ back from your insurance... you'll prob. have about 10 together in ~1-2 months if you buckle down and save. The more you put down the better because they will really try to fuck you with that financing shit...

But yea... hit me up if you wanna talk...but not after 10PM, I'm up for work at like 5 AM

If I was in your position I would definately go for the evo while keeping one of the cbs, witchever you prefer. Also if if I had the money I would buy either one of your cars to use the engine on my cb, unfortunately for me even though I make a desent salary I'm in debt up to my eyeballs. I don't know much about evos but I believe the mr is ligher than the other packages and the ix is the only one that comes with a sunroof correct me if I'm wrong. But good luck with whatever you decide.

I wasnt bashing them i was just speaking about how some of the owners are cocky like they can drive and about how much of a bad reputation theyve been given for such a good car.
